WOMEN MEAN BUSINESS FASHION EVENING

The Women Mean Business fashion evening in aid of WellChild, took place on May 23rd 2013 at Harvey Nichols in their stunning 5th Floor restaurant – Season.

Jo Malone spoke with great passion about the launch of her two businesses – Jo Malone and Jo Loves.  She also described her battle with breast cancer and left the audience with an insight into her four guiding principles – innovation, inspiration, integrity and ignition.  The audience were blown away.

Emily Maitlis – Newsnight anchor and WellChild ambassador hosted the evening with skill, wit and elegance.  She also revealed her passion for the charity for sick children.

Harvey Nichols put on a stunning half hour fashion show with everything from beachwear to evening wear – the highlight of which was the Atelier collection of British designer Amanda Wakeley.

WellChild ambassadors AMORE, the classical singing quartet, helped to call the prize draw and sang ‘acapella’.  The audience had a great time and raised money for the charity
