On December 4th 2014 I produced a Christmas Concert in aid of WellChild.
The event was held in the glorious surroundings of the Middle Temple Hall. WellChild Ambassador Emily Maitlis lead the procedings, introducing a mix of songs and readings that captured the Christmas spirit. The first soloist was wonderful WellChild ambassador, tenor David Webb, who gave a lovely rendition of ‘O Holy Night’. Also performing were Claudia Myles and newly-formed duo Campbell King. The event got off to a festive start with a fabulous performance of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ performed by the choir of Marlborough House School in Kent. They went on to perform other songs including ‘Can you Hear me?’. The event came to a rousing finale with the London International Gospel Choir. Guests, who included WellChild ambassador Penny Lancaster with her husband Rod Stewart, enjoyed champagne and canapes and donated to the charity’s important work through a fabulous silent auction.
